  1. Prepare 1 kg of prawns.
  2. You need 1 of onion chopped.
  3. Prepare 1 of tomato chopped.
  4. It’s 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  5. It’s as needed of Red chilli powder.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of Garam masala.
  7. You need 1 tbsp of cumin powder.
  8. You need 1 cup of coconut milk.

  12. You need 4 of Green cardamom.

  1. First wash the prawns 4 to 5 times with turmeric powder and salt. Once it is done. Marinate the prawns with turmeric powder,salt and red chilli powder. Keep aside for few minutes
  2. Mean while. Heat the Kadai. Add oil. Once the oil is hot. Fry the prawns for few minutes. Don't over cook the prawns. Otherwise it will become hard.
  3. In the same kadai. Add oil. Once the oil is hot. Add cardamom, cloves and cinnamon stick. Let it crackle for few minutes. Then add chopped onion. Fry till it become light brown in colour.
  4. Once it is done. Add turmeric powder, Red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and the grind paste. Mix………….. well.
  5. Add little water. So that the raw smell of masala goes off. Then add fry prawns. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Once it is done Take out the lid. Add coconut milk. Mix……..well.
  7. Cover and cook till the prawns become tender and the oil separates from the surface. Once it is done.
  8. Transfer to a beautiful bowl. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Ready to serve with hot….. Steam Rice.
