  1. Smear the prawns with turmeric and salt.
  2. Shallow fry the prawns and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add bay leaf and whole spices.
  5. Now add the onion paste and saute.
  6. Add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and Red chilli powder.
  7. Saute until raw smell of the spices gone.
  8. Now add salt and sugar.
  9. Add the coconut milk.
  10. Add the prawns.
  11. Cook covered for 5 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle ghee and garam masala and green chilli.
  13. Serve hot with steamed rice.
