- Prepare 1/2 kg of prawns.
- Prepare 4 of eggs.
- It’s 1 of onion sliced.
- You need 2 of carrots chopped.
- Prepare 1 each of Red, green, yellow bell pepper chopped.
- Prepare 2 tsp of ginger-garlic paste.
- You need Few of Spring onions chopped.
- Prepare as per taste of Pepper.
- It’s as per taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of chilli sauce.
- It’s 11/2 tbsp of light soy sauce.
- You need 1 cup of cooked basmati rice.
Prawn fried rice Instructions
- First, soak the rice for 30 minutes and then drain the water and cook in a vessel with water. Add salt, little oil and rice and cook to about 80%. Strain the rice in a colander and keep it aside.
- Marinate the prawns with salt and pepper and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Beat the 4 eggs with salt and pepper and make scrambled eggs. Keep it aside.
- In a wok, add 3-4 tbsps of oil, add the marinated prawns and fry till it becomes pinkish in colour. Then add ginger-garlic paste and mix well till the raw smell goes off. Then add onions and saute. Then add carrots, bell peppers and saute till it becomes crunchy. Then add the sauces-chilli sauce and soy sauce. Add the scrambled eggs and the cooked rice and mix well. Toss well.
